Another boring day. Went out in the morning to help out with ROA in church. Pretty alright. Then went to eat with a couple of people in church. Then went out :) Long story, wont talk about it.

Came back, stoned abit online, watched Naruto. Then later for some reason relatives start streaming into my house and then they talked alot. Then we went out for dinner at AMK central.... they started talking about ghosts and weird stuff happening to them. Weird.

My mum got me some pills. Supposed to make me gain weight. Er, right mom. Lets see if this works. This shit is freaking nasty.. its powdery and crap.

Im supposed to be doing my Audio Essentials Journal and Stote research right now.... better get started.

officially started wearing contacts. feels alright, i put them in much easier than before, maybe because i read the manual in the book that tells you the "right" method of putting them in. now they feel great, only the occasional twitches and im slowly getting used to them. one day they'll feel like nothing hopefully. sometimes when i look towards the sides my eyelids are still not used to the contacts, so it feels abit weird. well, i guess i must be patient.

the world feels so much bigger now with the contacts on. the computer monitor seems larger than before.

woke up late today. like, at 8:10, and my class starts at 9. and i stay at AMK. my school is at.... Tampines.

so i got up, changed, and took a cab. reached there at like 9:05 i think.

finished dr fun, then went up to studios to.....stone. talked to a few people, went around, wanted to film ba vid with my group but things went wrong the last minute, so we decided to do it on monday... sigh.

so i hanged around in school. started talking to stanley and a few people... including chris. good people. talked with them for a DAMN long time and in the end volunteered to be in gillian's bavid project as an extra with no roles or lines. nice.

then took a trip back home with a ride from chris... very nice. he brought me directly to a close bus stop.. so it was like 2-3 bus stops home. we were talking abt alot of crap on the way home...

still confused. but a little clearer now. 2 months break coming.... pretty important to me.

Just For

Back after a wet wet day. Rained the whole day today. Pretty nice actually :). Sorta cheesy.

Anyways went to school early to prepare for story telling project, i went there early and of course, no one was there. Ate breakfast in school, ham sausage and liquid egg. Very Gross. And then we went up to the studio to do some last minute prep and write our individual story proposals. We had the presentation on powerpoint.

Then when class started, We were the FIRST group. We presented, read out the whole script, and in the end felix liked it! Wow. He must like our story alot i guess. The rest of the groups were ok, but a little bland. In the end he said if an executive were to choose a story based on what we just presented, he would only choose one, and it was ours! So corny, but it was nice. At least the work we did paid off, all the hot ninja suits, cheesy poses and all.

Then after class went up to studios to chill. Talked abit to Enrique, he was wearing some lame hat... bad move man. Waited for Sharon, but she wasn't there that early so i went to eat with Eugene. I figured Sharon was coming already, so i went up to the studio to wait for her. After she came we went and saw Eugene on the way and he had to draw money and all that, so we followed him. Sharon stole my sweater on her way to class, so i had to freeze in the studio after she left. Waited for her to come out, stoned abit, wanted to draw but didnt start.

After she came out we went to eat outside of school. Went with er...Eunice, Chris, Xiao Hui, Jacky and Si Yuan if im not wrong. I forgot. Had a nice lunch. Rain was nice actually.

Went back to school and left soon after that. Brought Sharon to work, and we had to walk in the rain. Funny thing was we were in jackets and broadshorts :)

She walked me to the bus stop home. Had a long bus and train ride home after that.

Sleepover tomorrow... probably wont blog. But i'll still be going to school to see the person that i want to tickle right now =\.

went to watch movie with sharon, eugene, and chris. then after that we went to eat and then freddy came and we played pool. i was abit rusty... but it was fun :)

busy week. tmr must present stote. wednesday... no lesson. thursday no lesson too, so i dont know when we're going to start bavid shooting. hopefully soon.

Today was pretty fun. Seldom had such fun in awhile. Maybe cause i've been slacking in the sociality department. Better go out more and make more friends.

Went out with Sharon and Eugene today. Ate at Mos, then went to arcade to play percussion freaks. I think i should stop going to the arcade more often now. Sian. I'd rather go out and eat. =D.

About the AssPeeH and Mediacrap Merger, its another one big mistake from the beginning. The fact is, no one company should even try to branch out and make TWO SIMILAR channels to the most watched Free to Air TV channels in singapore. I mean, there's such a small market here and you want to compete with the decent channels already, Its a stupid move. What are you going to get, more viewers? No, you're going to get less and less viewers and less market for Advertisers!

I wont be suprised if channel U turns into some chinese or taiwan variety show channel targeted to the young. You just wait and see, and then channel 8 will become some auntie channel. Channel I will rot in hell.

I mean, if you want to start a new free to air channel in singapore, do it with intelligence. Start a channel with a niche crowd, like Animax the anime channel or smth. I mean, you wont affect the rest of the free to air channels but in turn create a whole new market for yourself, right?

What am i talking about. I don't even watch those channels anymore, Cable TV Rocks.

Service Pack 2 Works. Period.

STOP asking me why XP service pack 2 screws up your computer.

It doesnt. If you didnt already know, firewall is enabled instantly, so your computer wont be full of loopholes. I don't know why people are having problems, but they seem to be firewall related so it should be something to do with that.

Other than that service pack 2 is great. IE pop up blocker, add on manager (allows you to automatically disable that irritating windows messenger, and auto updates!) IE still doesnt have tabbed browsing for some weird reason so i'll have to still go with Firefox on this one.

Besides, if you want to keep up to date and patch windows to the latest version so you dont get attacked by viruses (like the old blaster virus and what not, i know i got hit) then you'll have to patch anyway.

Go give it a try. Don't worry it wont break your computer. It didnt break mine.

Went to download some stuff today when i found Charmed Season 7 Episode one. Downloaded and watched it. Since i've already finished watching season 6 (the one on mediacrap channel 5 now) i wasnt that spoiled. First ep was great as usual.

Just woke up. Bleh. My camera sucks up batteries like nothing. I put two batteries in last night and this morning its gone already. Damn i need to get those lithium batteries but they cost so ex. Like, $10+ for 2 batteries? Thats insane.

Oh look all my files completed downloading yesterday. All 5 episodes of naruto + my Green day album. Cool. Time to find more things to download. Sims 2 is damn fun. My female sim just got pregnant :)

Tactical Life Simulator

I just got the sims 2 today =). It was pretty fun. I still have alot to explore in the game. It has much more depth than the first game.

Story Telling assignment 1 complete! Well i finished it last night. Then i got a terrible stomachache and went to sleep.

Today, going to go to school, hand up assignment, then go to bugis and get the Sims 2, if nothing goes wrong. i now have 40 unwatched episodes of naruto on my computer (downloaded to 90).

Azureus is sucking up my bandwith. Thats the bittorent client i use. Gack, Downloading 99 episodes of naruto isnt helping :)

Check out this cool service, Audioscrobbler. It takes the songs you play most on your MP3 player (be it iTunes, Winamp, Musicmatch, or Windows Media Player) and it installs a plugin into it, that sends data from your MP3 player and records the names of the songs (of course, you need clean ID3 Tags, you can find an ID3 Tag renamer... scroll a little bit down to my previous post.)

What it does is that after it collects the names of the songs you played, it stores it in its server and then you have a top played charts and things that you might be interested in listening (it collects data from other people and what they hear, so if they like Hoobastank for instance, the server reads it and tells you you might like Dashboard Confessional too. Or something like that.)

So far i've only played 73 songs after i got the plugin, i should hit 100 today.

Alright. Finally spent some time to get this thing running.

I know i know, its a default layout. Not like i have the time to code or anything. Maybe soon, but the basic structure is there.

Oh, too much tech. I went out to AMK today to eat. The food everywhere is egg-less. Which sucks. I had egg-less breakfast (eggless prata! the horror!), egg-less lunch (nasi lemak without egg? WTF?), and an egg-less dinner (fried rice witout eggs. T.T).

Walked around abit, and because i was broke, went home after playing a couple games of percussion freaks 9th mix. Pretty sweet, today lots of people were staring at me playing. Holidays what.

School tomorrow, I havent touched drawing fundamentals homework. Great. I'll have to lay low tomorrow. Basic Video Meeting, and once again, i dont have anything to show. Haha.

Oh btw, im online more often now. No, for real.

[techie rants]

Yeah. This will be the part of the blog where i rant about techie stuff. If you're not a huge tech fan, a geek or gamer, turn away :).

I intend to add more stuff tonight. Probably a whats playing now section, a taggie (unless i stick to my comments system). and some other stuff. I've spotted something interesting surfing around... Text America
Yeah, Basically its like some mobile blogging service. You take HP pictures and auto blog them! How nice. I'll go surf around somemore and see what else i fancy.

Ok, whats new. I spent the whole day today trying to re-organize my MP3 collection... and man was it tough. Its not easy when you have to recheck and rename the ID3 Tags and filenames of 1400+ files. I was looking around for an auto tagger and file renamer but couldnt find anything easy to use and actually worked. Then i found one.MusicBrainz Tagger. Man this thing works. Best of all its free. It reads MP3's and searches for the correct files in their system which contains even the rarest of songs, and correctly renames the ID3 tags AND the filenames at the same time, at your liking. A little tweaking had to be done though. Now i got a spiffy playlist.
